About the Teacher
I am a secondary school Maths teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching. Recently, I was appointed as a GCSE examiner by Edexcel.
In addition to my teaching credentials, I am an Economics graduate and hold both the QTS and PGCE qualifications. I also possess an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate and have Tutor Insurance.
Teaching Maths is my passion, and I specialise in providing stress-free Maths tutoring. I strive to make complicated concepts sound simple and always begin my lessons at a level where the student feels comfortable.
Each of my lessons is tailored to meet the individual needs of my students.

ExcellentTutor! Julia was amazingly helpful in supporting my daughter as she prepared for her GCSEs. She had been strugling to keep up and her confidence had started to be affected as she prepared for her mocks. Her weekly sessions with Julia allowed her to get the grade 6 she needed!
